The
Reese Sidewinder is the Short-Bed Towing Solution when towing a 5th wheel when towed behind short-bed pickups (6 ft. or less). The use of a Signature Series, Select Plus or Select Series Fifth Wheel and Sidewinder Pin Box Coupler together will eliminate turning and clearance headaches often found while towing with a short-bed pickup. The Sidewinder's kingpin locking mechanism moves the pivot position 22" rear of the coupler's attachment point, enabling the truck and trailer to handle up to a 90 degree turn effortlessly while keeping the load centered over the axles. You can also get the Sidewinder/5th Airborne Combo which provides the smoothest ride of all the air-ride couplers on the market.
